At the beginning of this month, we first ushered the information of Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.2 Buried Memory will be launched in August, and at this stage, as July draws to a close, we also have more information on this major patch. Here's everything we know so far about the update that Patch 6.2 brings.

    1. The increase of main scene tasks

With the end of the main story Endwalker, a new chapter is about to begin. And this means that more new plots and corresponding missions will also appear, and players will also experience side missions expanded from the main scene.

The dungeon will also be changed. In Patch 6.2, a new Doomsday mode will be introduced, where players can gather their friends for small-group battles. The Pandaemonium series will add raids of normal and savage difficulty, and unreal trials will also add trials of different difficulty.

    2. Island Sanctuary

Island Sanctuary is the casual gameplay that players are most looking forward to seeing. Players can build their islands where they collect materials, care for creatures, craft items and build different facilities. This mode is based on a lot of customization space for players, and players can decide the appearance of the island and the internal economy mode, and the Island Sanctuary sets its own unique currency mechanism.

Based on this, many people regard Island Sanctuary as Animal Crossing in Final Fantasy XIV, which shows that players have great expectations for this gameplay.

  • FFXIV: Highlights of Patch 6.18

    Posted: Jul 06, 2022

True Final Fantasy XIV fans will never miss an update. Even after noticing that patch 6.2 Buried Memory would be released in August, patch 6.18 still grabbed most of the attention. Depending on the quality of Square Enix's steady updates, Patch 6.18 does bring a lot highlights.

    1. Crystalline Conflict will open Season 2.

As a competitive mechanism that players are keen to participate in, the first season of Crystalline Conflict is coming to an end. The top 100 players in the Crystalline Conflict competition results in each data center will be able to receive vouchers as a reward.

It's worth noting that rewards need to be claimed before Season 2 ends. At the beginning of Season 2, players who participated in Season 1 will receive five risers based on their rankings, with zero Rising Stars.

    2. Large-scale PvP professional ability balance adjustment.

To cooperate with the launch of Crystalline Conflict Season Two, Square Enix once again adjusted the skill effects of each occupation. Among them, the adjustments of Gunbreaker and Dancer are the most significant. The effectiveness of Gunbreaker's skills Burst Strike and Hypervelocity have been enhanced; Dancer's overall skills have been enhanced, and the damage bonus of Saber Dance has been increased from 5% to 10%. But Black Mage, Ninja, and Paladin's skill effects have all been nerfed to some extent.

    3. The new Data Center Travel System.

The Data Center Travel System is a mechanism that provides players the opportunity to travel through data centers in different countries. In MMORPGs like Final Fantasy XIV, social features have always been the most popular part, so the development of the Data Center Travel System is very sensible, so players can get more space for making friends.

The operation of the Data Center Travel System is also very simple and easy to understand. Players only need to select the character to log in, open the submenu and select the "Visit Another Data Center" option and then select the Data Center and World you want to go to.

Entering other data centers will give you the title of "Traveler" and will be able to carry out some mission activities normally. But some functions will also be limited.

From the current situation, this update is the most popular with players, so there is a situation of server overload. Based on this, Square Enix has temporarily disabled settings for overcrowded worlds.

If you want to learn more about it, be sure to visit IGGM.com. Not only will the latest Final Fantasy XIV news be featured here, but there will also be FFXIV Gil for sale to help you progress. We will continue to improve the service level to bring you satisfactory service.

    Posted: May 25, 2022

The PvP mode has been a highlight for Final Fantasy 14 players. Currently, it includes three PvP Duties: Frontline, Rival Wings and the latest Crystal Conflict. Each type of PvP has unique competitive mechanics and rewards, and players can form their teams to participate in the battle.

Judging from the new PvP project: Crystalline Conflict, which was released in Patch 6.1 last month, players are as enthusiastic about PvP in FF14 as ever. To bring more team strategy fun to players, Square Enix has brought the Patch 6.11a after analyzing the usage rate and win rate of each class, which contains a series of Action adjustments to balance the abilities of the class.

This adjustment is mainly aimed at Jobs of Magical Ranged DPS and Physical Ranged DPS. At the same time, Gunbreaker, one of Tank Jobs, has been enhanced, and the healing effect of Astroogian in Healer has been adjusted. As the class with the most adjustments this time around, Black Mage's actions have been enhanced overall: Fire IV, Flare, Blizzard IV, and other classes have all had their cast time shortened, and their effect duration and damage increased.

Overall, this PvP adjustment does not add new content, but rather enhances the above-mentioned professional skills and survivability to make the entire professional system more balanced, and players' choices will be more diverse.

There are also changes to the Crystalline Conflict rules. Now, Crystal tier players can be matched with Diamond 3 (with 1 Rising Star) or higher players. In addition, the patch also previews future feature updates, new custom deliveries, Arkasodara tribal quests, and Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures will be launched in a future Patch 6.15.
