  • Elder Scrolls Online: What Are The Top Houses You Can Choose In Update 43? - Variety & Details

    Posted: Sep 03, 2024

In Update 43 of Elder Scrolls Online, a new feature called Home Tours was added, which allows you to share your own home or visit other players’ homes and use your creativity to build a home of your own. Most importantly, it allows you to share your creativity and passion easily with everyone in one centralized place.

But there are tons of houses to choose from in ESO. Do you have a choice? If you don’t, that’s okay. In this guide, we’re listing down the top 3 houses you should own in Update 43 so you can explore more of Tamriel in ESO.

The Necessity Of Owning A House

Many players are not used to building or choosing a house in an MMO game, because other similar games basically don’t have such a feature. But you need to pay attention to the fact that in ESO, you can use this house as a creative outlet to use your unconventional and unrestrained creativity. Or you can use it as a storage expansion so that you can store more useful Elder Scrolls Online Items.

In addition, the most important thing is that once you have a house, you can use the fast travel mechanism in the game to travel anywhere in the game except Cyrodiil or Imperial City. This means that you can quickly move between crafting stations, merchants and daily quest hubs, which will greatly reduce the time you need to explore Tamriel.

    Best Houses

According to the type of house, 3 best houses are selected for you, namely Inn Room, Apartment and Small Home. Let’s introduce them one by one.

    Sugar Bowl Suite

    • Location: Rimmen of Northern Elsweyr
    • Price: Free or 3,000 ESO Gold
    • Traditional Furnishings: 30
    • Collectible Furnishings: 2
    • Special Collectibles: 2

While there are two very nice inn rooms for journeys and lodgings in Necrom and Rosewine Retreat in West Weald, Sugar Bowl Suite in Rimmen is still widely considered the best inn room.

First up is Rimmen, the chapter hub for Elsweyr, and a very nicely laid out city with some useful features. Next up is this house, which is the only inn room in the game with an outward-facing front door, so you can fast travel to the Wayshrine after walking a few steps to the front door, which is very useful. Also, since Rimmen was the last chapter hub city added to ESO, it is not split into multiple parts, so you don’t have to wait for loading when you use the fast travel mechanic. This is the biggest difference from other houses in the city.

Once you enter Rimmen, you can easily access all the major city constructions in this chapter hub and complete your daily writes without the constraints of the loading screen, and even seamlessly enter the adventure stage. This is very useful for some players who have a time control when playing games. In addition, the crafting area in Rimmen is one of the best areas in the game, with very easy-to-see loops and long sight lines, and navigation is also very smooth. Stable Master, battle master, and Impresario in this area are all located outside the main gate of the city, and the overall transportation is very convenient.

If you don’t have enough ESO Gold to own this beautiful house, don’t worry, you can still get it by completing Room to Spare quest. But don’t get excited yet, you must understand that the disadvantage of the Sugar Bowl Suite is that there are not enough furnishing slots to accommodate all the convenience furnishings you want. If you don’t mind this, then you can enjoy the fun that Sugar Bowl Suite brings you.

    Flaming Nix Deluxe Garret

    • Location: Mournhold of Deshaan
    • Price: 13,000 ESO Gold
    • Traditional Furnishings: 100
    • Collectible Furnishings: 2
    • Special Furnishings: 2

Apartments can hold about the same number of collectibles and furnishing slots as inns, so you can expect to not have a lot of convenience furnishings in an apartment. If that’s a problem, consider the other houses. There are only three apartments in Elder Scrolls Online, but they’re all in great locations.

The most prominent of these is Flaming Nix Deluxe Garret in Mournhold, both because it’s located in one of the original capitals and because it’s closer to Mournhold crafting area. So the value of Flaming Nix Deluxe Garret has remained in the top five of all houses, but as daily quests continue to improve, ESO Gold you spend on it will come back to you in various ways.

As the capital of Ebonheart Pact, Mournhold is also one of the busiest trading centers in the game. The crafting area and Writ turning in Mournhold are not as good as those in the new cities, but they are sufficient for you to handle some daily business.

Regardless of your daily life, it is highly recommended to pick up Flaming Nix Deluxe Garret, because you only need to decorate it with a slightly generous furniture limit, which will be very interesting, and not overwhelming like some of the larger houses in ESO.

    Snugpod

    • Location: Elden Root of Grahtwood
    • Achievement: Reliquary Retriever
    • Price: 45,000 ESO Gold
    • Traditional Furnishings: 200
    • Collectible Furnishings: 10
    • Special Collectibles: 4

Snugpod is not only the best small house but also the best overall house in the total game. In addition, it is also the closest house to Stable Master and Undaunted Enclave. Like Sugar Bowl Suite, it has an exterior door, and is very close to Elden Root Wayshrine, Outlaw Refuge, and Master Writ turning.

Because of these convenient transportation and excellent location, Snugpod has become a must-have house in the minds of many players, but because of the increasing value of Undaunted, Mages Guild, and Fighters Guild daily tasks, the value of this house will continue to rise, so get it as soon as possible.

Most importantly, small houses differ from apartments and inn rooms. There are enough furnishing slots to accommodate all housing storage boxes and service NPCs. So in theory, Snugpod is the best house you can transform into a well-equipped guild hall, and it is also the most cost-effective.

These are the three best houses you can choose in Elder Scrolls Online Update 43. You can choose to accord to your own needs, and I wish you good fun in the game!

  • Elder Scrolls Online: Preview Some Of The New Contents Coming In Update 43 - Home Tours, Infinite Archive & More

    Posted: Aug 17, 2024

Elder Scrolls Online Update 43 base game patch will be released on August 19th for PC/Mac and September 4th for Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Before we start playing, let’s take a look at some of the highlights of this update!

In Update 43, we have the opportunity to see the new Home Tours system in action, new content in the endless PVE Arena: Infinite Archive, including some other additional updates. In this guide, let’s talk about what these improvements and updates will bring to us.

    Home Tours

The developers said that they have been deeply involved in the new Housing Feature that has been teased for a long time, which is Home Tours. They admitted that Housing Community is one of their biggest concerns. The developers hope to create something new to help players continue to grow and share their creative homes with others. This is also where Home Tours comes into play.

Home Tours will be available in Activity Finder System, allowing players to easily visit other people’s homes. Players will be able to create listings for their homes and likewise visit other homes listed in Finder System.

You can even assign up to three tags to your home to describe the vibe of the place. For example, when you create a listing, you could assign Sinister tag to a creepy horror house, or Cozy tag to a cozier, more relaxing house you put together. You can even assign Playful and Games tags to a home that has a fun maze or jumping puzzle.

Homes listed by your friends and guild-mates through Home Tours Finder will also have recognizable symbols next to their listings. You can freely choose the house you want to visit based on these tags.

Ultimately, the new Home Tours System will give everyone a platform to show the greater ESO community that they put a lot of effort into all of their homes, not just their primary home.

    Infinite Archive Updates

Next, let’s talk about what’s new in Infinite Archive. Infinite Archive (IA for short) is an endless PVE Arena with Apocryphal theme that comes with the base game.

The faster you advance in Infinite Archive, the more challenging it becomes. But you can also earn several temporary and permanent buffs, called Verses and Visions, which can help you gradually strengthen your character build.

In this PVE Arena, you have the opportunity to fight various monsters from all over Tamriel, including some familiar bosses, but with new mechanics. As you take down monsters in Infinite Archive, you will also collect Archival Fortunes, an IA-specific currency that you can cash in for exquisite rewards.

ESO developers have always mentioned that Infinite Archive is a mechanic that can be expanded to create new experiences, and this IA update is exactly what it needs.

In Update 43, they added two new Arena types to Infinite Archive, which are based on Fire and Ice. This means that Fire Arena has fire pits that will spray lava at the player, and Ice Arena has frozen water that will freeze the player to death if they stay in it for too long. These environmental hazards will definitely challenge players.

Additionally, a new Daily Quest giver will be added, and she will require you to kill Marauders or different Fabled Monsters in order to get the corresponding rewards, including the most basic ESO Gold and some rare equipment.

They also added 10 new bosses from all over Tamriel as well as 8 new Verses, 10 new Visions, new Fabled Monsters, and 2 new Marauders.

One of Marauders is similar to Werewolf Behemoth in March of Sacrifices Dungeon, as it has a mechanic that limits your vision by summoning fog. The other Marauder is Charging Minotaur. You can also pick up a new consumable that allows you to transform into a random avatar, such as Werewolf Behemoth, once per turn, as well as some new class sets. We won’t have to wait long to try all this new content!

    Other Improvements

Beyond this, we also got some information about the additional improvements that will be experienced in the next patch.

    Mount Preview

The developers have added mount preview improvements that allow you to preview all the animations of the mount, such as crouching, walking, running, and more.

    Luminous Ink Enhancements

Luminous Ink will also be enhanced in Collections and Crown Store menus. Because in Update 43, this elusive and important Scribing material will have a new source, and we will have the opportunity to obtain Luminous Ink from Chests and Heavy Sacks.

    New Styles

In the next patch, the developers will also add 6 new Styles, which players can obtain by spending Archival Fortunes.

As we all know, Skill Styling System debuted in Gold Road Chapter, which allows players to change the appearance of skills after obtaining certain Achievements. The developers announced a preview of one of the new Skill Styles in the latest live broadcast, which changes the color of Eye Of The Storm Destruction Staff from fiery red to glowing purple. This does not change the actual effect of the skill, but it will definitely make your character cool!

    Guild Stores

Another new feature is about Guild Stores. The arrival of this feature saves you from having to re-sort your guilds every time you enter Guild Bank menu to enter the only Guild Bank you really use. When you open this menu, you’ll see the last Guild Store you used, as this will be remembered for a few seconds after you click on this point.

    Curated Item Set Drops

The last update is that there will be more Curated Item Set drops in the game. Curated in this context is a term used to describe the fact that gear that you haven’t collected yet is more likely to drop for you. It’s an oversimplification, but it’s basically what it is, and it applies to most item sources.

It will now apply to PvP Bags, Trial Reward Coffers, and Monster Shoulder Coffers. This is big news! I’m really glad they finally went ahead and implemented this so that we don’t have to waste our Undaunted Keys just to get a Monster Set Shoulder with the correct weight we need.

    Final Thoughts

That’s it for the major additions in ESO Update 43. What are your initial thoughts given everything you’ve seen?

Probably for a lot of players who play Housing on PC, the new Housing feature is a bit disappointing. Because there is already a very popular add-on that does essentially the same thing, this add-on is called EHT or Essential Housing Tools. One of its many features is that it allows you to view other players’ homes. However, the introduction of the new Home Tours System means that you can expect some new gameplay with it at its core.

Unfortunately, some people have expressed concerns about this new Housing feature. They worry that other players will be able to copy their housing creations more easily, and things like this are a pretty pressing issue in the veteran Housing Community.

Regardless, you can’t deny the fact that this will make it easier for you to share your housing creations with others. Not only will this inspire other players, but it will also promote fun gameplay as players can explore a variety of creative homes. What do you think of this update? See you next time!

  • Elder Scrolls Online: How To Get The Most Out Of The Plus Free Trial? - What & How To Unlock?

    Posted: Jun 17, 2024

By now, you’re all aware of the exciting news. The developers recently launched ESO Plus Free Trial event, which will last until Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM EDT.

ESO Plus includes some significant features, but if you don’t normally subscribe because of price or game time, you might be wondering which quick or important feature unlocks you should focus on during the current Free Trial.

This guide has everything you need to know about instant unlocks, including what they are and where to get them so you can get them during ESO Plus Trial! We’ll also show you the best uses for ESO Plus Trial, what things you should prioritize during your trial, and what will and won’t work after Free Trial is over.

Before we get into the details, remember to activate it from Crown Store under ESO Plus tab while Free Trial is available.

    Keeping And Refining Your Materials

If your character has a Craft Bag, make sure to log in and move their stuff into Craft Bag. This way, anything in the bag will stay in the bag even after Free Trial ends, so use it while it’s available!

You can also use this Trial to refine your raw materials, preferably on a character with the best Refining passive skill and Meticulous Disassembly CP passive slotted.

    Unlocking Instant Dungeon Collectibles

First, let’s look at Dungeon collectibles, all of which are unlocked by entering 1 of the 2 dungeons included in each Dungeon DLC. You don’t even need to complete the dungeon, just enter it!

    • Visit Ruins of Mazzatun or Cradle of Shadows and you’ll get Heroic Personality.
    • Enter Falkreath Hold or Bloodroot Forge to get Bull Horns Emote.
    • Enter Fang Lair or Scalecaller Peak to get Renegade Dragon Priest Mask.
    • Unlock Werewolf Hunter Hat by entering Moon Hunter Keep or March of Sacrifices.
    • Enter Frostvault or Depths of Malatar and you’ll get Ayleid Royal Crown.
    • Step into Lair of Maarselok or Moongrave Fane to unlock Dread-Aurelian Mask.
    • Visit Unhallowed Grave or Icereach to get Wickerman Mishap Emote.
    • Enter Castle Thorn or Stone Garden to get Energetic Dwarven Shock-Spider.
    • Enter Cauldron or Black Drake Villa to use Fire-Forged Maul Weapon Style.
    • After entering Red Petal Bastion or Dread Cellar, Scorion Pyreling Non-Combat Pet will be added to your collection.
    • After entering Coral Aerie or Shipwright’s Regret, you will get these Abyssal Embrace Face Markings.
    • After entering Earthen Root Enclave or Graven Deep, Mulberry Hermit Crab will be added to your collection.

However, Scribes of Fate and Scions of Ithelia Dungeons do not offer any Exploration Achievements.

    Unlocking DLC Zone Collectible

DLC zones also have their own treasures, some of which are as easy as visiting a major city:

    Wrothgar

You can get Echalette Pet by entering Orsinium in Wrothgar.

    Thieves Guild

In Thieves Guild DLC, you can unlock Jackal Pet by entering Abah’s Landing. If you take the time to complete the first zone story quest, you’ll also get Thieves Guild Leathers.

    Dark Brotherhood

Dark Brotherhood unlocks Assassin Personality by entering Gold Coast zone, and completing the second zone story quest will add Shrouded Armor Costume to your collection.

    Clockwork City

Dovah-Fly pet is unlocked by entering Brass Fortress in Clockwork City. There are also 3 side quests available from Outlaws Refuges that will give you supply recipes.

You can also rebuild Precursor Target Dummy, but this is a bit time consuming and not worth the effort. This Target Dummy won’t give you accurate numbers when parsed, but it’s a nice cosmetic addition.

    Murkmire

This colorful Haj Mota pet is unlocked by entering Lilmoth in Murkmire for the first time.

    Southern Elsweyr

Entering Southern Elsweyr for the first time unlocks Topal Corsair Hat, and you can also complete zone side quests to unlock additional pages if you like that style. If you complete the zone story quest, you can unlock Mask of Alkosh Hat and Za’ji’s Dragonguard Uniform.

    Markarth

Entering Reach Zone for the first time unlocks Arkthzand Anfractuosity Shroud. There is also a side quest in Karthwasten called After the Storm that grants you Reach Rebel Face Markings.

The last zone story quest has matching Body Markings. And you can unlock Witchwise Headdress Collectible Hat by completing the 4th zone story quest.

    Deadlands

In Deadlands, you will unlock Oblivion Explorer’s Headwrap when you enter Fargrave for the first time.

    Firesong

When you first enter Galen, you’ll unlock Firesong Obsidian Mask. You’ll also unlock matching Face and Body Markings and Phoenix Moth pet after completing the zone story quest.

Other Uses For ESO Plus Trial

In addition, other simple and worthwhile things you can do during ESO Plus Trial include:

If you take the time to complete Daily Crafting Writs, stock up on Craft Bags! You can get basic style Stones, Potency Runes and Ta Runes, Alchemy, Ingredients, and any other long-term materials you might need from Crafting Vendors for 15 ESO Gold each.

Unlock Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, and Psijic Skill Lines for each of your characters. Collect Skyshards, Lorebooks, and unlock exploration, questing dyes, and achievements in areas you wouldn’t normally be able to access.

Dye your clothing! This is something that you do for every character, so the same clothing may dye differently on different characters. If you have a companion expansion, you can also dye their clothing.

On top of that, take advantage of the 2x furnishing limits in your home to complete treasure maps in areas you wouldn’t normally be able to access. If you have Antiquities rank, dig for clues that would otherwise be inaccessible.

Finally, let’s talk about the more time-consuming uses of ESO Plus Trial. You can collect 4-man DLC dungeon set pieces. Remember to bind them when you get any you haven’t collected yet to minimize duplication.

You can also fully explore and complete zone maps, completing DLC Trials to earn gear drops and achievements. Completing 2 public dungeon group events in each expansion zone grants 1 skill point.

You can also stockpile DLC Daily Coffers on multiple characters. Newer zones have a 20-hour cooldown on Motifs Page drops in the daily reward container, so you can collect a bunch of boxes and stop opening them after you get Motifs Page. Doing this will allow you to continue to earn those Motifs even after Trial ends.

What Features Will Continue To Work After Trial Ends?

So, what features will continue to work and what will no longer work after Trial ends or you stop paying for ESO Plus?

Firstly, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood and Psijic Skill Lines will continue to exist, allowing you to continue to loot Thieves Troves and Psijic Portals, and Blade of Woe will continue to function.

You can still assign and unassign skill points in Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Psijic Skill, Scrying, and Excavation skill trees, but you cannot develop them further, and they are only available on the character you unlocked them for.

If you no longer own Greymoor, Antiquities System will stop working after Trial ends.

Fortunately, houses acquired in DLC zones will continue to work. The only difference is that when leaving a house, you will not enter DLC zone, but teleport back to the location you were in when you went to the house.

Note that since Jewelry Crafting skill line requires Summerset, after ESO Plus expires, you can no longer access Jewelry Crafting Station if you do not own this DLC. So definitely consider completing those valuable research traits when you have access!

If you don’t plan on keeping your ESO Plus, remember to set your priorities. I recommend getting the instant unlocks first, then focusing on what you think is most important. Just a reminder, all collectibles are account-wide unlocks!

Anyway, hopefully you get all the exceptional free stuff, and this guide will help you find and unlock them! Good luck!

  • Elder Scrolls Online: The New Gold Road Furnishing Plans Will Be Found In These Two Best Locations!

    Posted: May 20, 2024

Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road Chapter is coming to PC and consoles, and with it comes lucrative gold farming opportunities from farming new Furnishing Plans!

Furnishing Plans farming in ESO has the potential to provide players with rare and expensive Furnishing Plans that can then be sold for large amounts of ESO Gold, and this is especially true whenever a new region is introduced to the game. Typically, in a new ESO region, we will have the opportunity to obtain some new ESO Furnishings and Furnishing Plans. This means that players will be willing to spend a lot of gold on the latest stuff, especially this endgame ESO housing mains!

In this guide, I share some basics of ESO Furnishing Plans farming to get all players up to speed quickly and allow everyone to farm Plans more efficiently, no matter where they choose to farm. Besides this, I also share two of the best locations to farm Furnishing Plans in Gold Road Chapter! Without further ado, let’s get started!

    Furnishing Plans Farming Tips

There are three varieties of Furnishing Plans that can be farmed in Overland, Green, Blue, and Purple. Green is usually the most common plan sold for the least gold, while Purple is the rarest.

Especially for any of the new Purple Furnishing Plans from the new DLC and Chapter areas, these used to sell for millions of dollars on PCNA. Because of their rarity, they are rarely released with a limited supply, and there is an enormous demand for them any time you are hunting for containers.

Whether you are hunting legally or as a criminal scum doing illegal looting, you have a chance to receive Furnishing Plans that correspond to the base outfit styles that you are unique to.

So if I were to farm plans in DLC areas Bearer’s Rest and Fargrave, by looting the containers there, I might receive a nice Fargrave Furnishing Plan because that is the area I am in. Alternatively, we can get Furnishing Plans that are available in the base game like Argonian or something.

Once you have looted all the containers in an instance, it will become a ladder and you cannot loot them again. So unless good Furnishing Plans are available, what farmers like to do is reset an instance so that the container can be re-equipped and farming can continue.

Every player has a different preferred strategy for resetting an instance. But some common ones include previewing or looking at the house in Crown Store and then walking straight out the door, back to your last location, then walking out the nearest door in the instance and back.

However, you have to be aware of the fact that resetting the container is not always necessary in instances, such as Bearer’s Rest. Also, in other cases, it will give you loading screens when you walk in or out, and the items in the container will be refilled at that time.

If you want to increase your chances of dropping Furnishing Plans, then you absolutely need to make sure you wear Homemaker Champion Point at any time you are farming plans. This will give you a 10% chance of finding a second Furnishing Plan when you loot any of them in Overland.

Finally, if you have Azandar al-Cybiades Companion from Necrom Chapter. It is not a bad idea to summon him and have him accompany you to farm plans.

If you have unlocked Azandar’s Inquisitiveness perk, you will have the opportunity to discover Research Portfolios that can contain crafting recipes, such as Furnishing Plans, Treasure Maps, and Survey Reports. This way, whenever you search for containers, you will be doing a lot while farming plans.

    Farming Locations

So where should you go to farm the new Furnishing Plans that come with Gold Road Chapter? Here are some possible locations.

    Rustwall Estate

Rustwall Estate is just a short walk southeast of Skingrad. In Estate you will find Legion Barracks, which has about 20 containers to search, and in Estate you will find Legionary, which has about 20 containers that can be searched without getting stolen.

What works well here is to go through the door and then walk around the perimeter of the room in a clockwise direction while looting all the searchable containers.

I prefer to do a preview and go into Crown Store after I have looted all the containers. Then leave as soon as I get there, resetting the instance and refilling all the containers. Unfortunately, the containers won’t refill if you walk straight out of this place and come back.

    Outcast Inn

If you don’t get the loading screens, there are also a couple of searchable containers in Outcast Inn, located northwest of Skingrad, right next to the door that will give you loading screens, which is very convenient.

There are a few ways to get into Outcast Inn. But the room with a bunch of containers you’re looking for is on the first floor, right next to the stairs leading to Cellar of the Outcast. Here, I was able to quickly loot a bunch of Wardrobes in a small enclosed area, put them in my backpack, then dash out the door and walk back out to do it all over again.

This reset method was definitely faster for me since I didn’t have to open Crown Store or wait for my teleport animation to finish, but there are fewer containers here than in the first location.

    Outro

In conclusion, both of these locations are great for starting to farm Furnishing Plans on Gold Road.

Farming Plans is undeniably pretty RNG-reliant. So, unlike farming for materials or doing daily Crafting Writs, they reward you with a more reliable and steady source of valuable goods that can be exchanged for gold. But you may not always get something valuable when you search for Furnishing Plans in containers.

So remember, the benefit of this gold farming strategy is that your mind can go off for a while you farm. So it’s something you can do while doing other things, like watching a video or waiting for your dungeon queue to pop up.

Of course, if you get really lucky and get a Purple Furnishing Plan, it can sell for a pretty penny, especially if you get it early in Gold Road.

That’s it for this guide. If you saw it before Gold Road went live, you’re totally ready to get started. Good luck, good Furnishing Plan farming, and may you be blessed by RNG gods!

  • Elder Scrolls Online: How To Effectively Level Up Your Alliance Skill Lines Outside Of PVP?

    Posted: Mar 23, 2024

Lately, I often come across a situation where a lot of PVE players don’t intend to actually learn how to PVP, but they still want to level up their Alliance Skill Lines quickly. If this is the case for you, then don’t miss this guide.

Here, I’ll share some tips to help you level up your Assault and Support Skill Lines effectively without fighting other players. Let’s get straight to it!

How To Get Alliance Points Quickly?

Here are two ways to earn Alliance Points without fighting other players. First, perform repeatable daily missions from Town and Scouting Missions. Second, repair the walls and doors in Friendly-Castles and Outposts.

The first method will be fairly obvious to anyone who has completed some PVE content in the game, and will yield rewards such as Set items and Pelinal’s Boon Boxes. However, the second method, while boring, earns Alliance Points much faster.

    Buy Repair Kits

To repair Keep-Walls, you first need to stock up on Keep Wall Masonry Repair Kit and Keep Door Woodwork Repair Kits. I would focus mainly on the walls, as the door is usually fixed after the crew that just conquered it captures the keep.

You can purchase these Repair Kits from Guild Traders. It’s worth noting that since some PVE players don’t intend to use them, you can also trade with them to get these Kits, but check the price first.

NPC merchants sell them for 90 ESO Gold or 200 Alliance Points. These Siege Merchants can be found at every Keep and major Alliance base.

    Find The Broken Wall

You then need to equip these Repair Kits in your quick slots and use them while standing near a wall or gate. A damaged portion of a Keep can be identified from a distance by the scaffolding equipment surrounding it, or up close by observing its health bar. Finding the right location for Repair Kits work isn’t always obvious.

How To Maximize Alliance Points Gains?

Now let’s talk about how to maximize your Alliance Points gains from these actions to help earn some passive bonuses.

    Bonus

First, owning all 5 Home Keeps earns you Home Keep Bonus, which increases XP, Alliance Points, and coins earned by 5%.

Enemy Keep Bonus depends on the number of Keeps your faction controls on the map, up to 15%. This increases XP, Alliance Points, and gold you earn from kills by 11%, and your weapon and spell critical hits by 5%.

Players who own Drakelowe Keep, Castle Brindle, and Fort Dragonclaw will receive an Edge Keep Score Bonus of 8% each.

These three bonuses are outside of your control, but try to choose campaigns where your faction dominates. After killing Delve Boss in Cyrodiil, you will get Blessing of War buff, which gives you a 20% Alliance Points bonus for 1 hour.

    Consumables

You can also use the consumables: Colovian War Torte, Molten War Torte, and White-Gold War Torte to get 50%, 100%, or 150% bonus respectively. The first one is cheap, but the last two cost a lot of money.

    Healer Sets

You can also use Mora’s Whispers to speed up alliance ranking and skill progress by 10% without requiring Alliance Points. Also, Healer Sets, especially those that boost healing, are also helpful as they increase AP gain. Because from a game perspective, we’re healing castle structures.

    Outro

Although repairing Keep-Walls is boring, reaching level 6 with Assault and Support Skill Lines is relatively quick thanks to the double Alliance Points bonus for ongoing activities, requiring a total of 188,000 AP to do so. Usually, that’s all it takes to satisfy PVE needs to level up Skill Lines. See you next time!

  • Elder Scrolls Online: How To Explore Tamriel With Your Companions? - Companion System Explained

    Posted: Mar 18, 2024

Blackwood Chapter of Elder Scrolls Online offers players new areas to explore as well as a variety of quests, group activities, and collectibles. However, the biggest addition of all is the innovative Companion System, which provides you with a permanent follower to assist you in your adventures.

    Companion System

Companions are non-player characters that follow you in non-PVP areas. Blackwood Chapter introduced Mirri and Bastian, High Isle Chapter a year later introduced Isobel and Ember, and the current Necrom Chapter introduced Sharp-As-Night and Azandar.

These NPCs can assist in combat, carry items, and provide unique dialogue options and quest lines to complete. This is arguably one of the biggest and most exciting changes we’ve seen to ESO in years. If you’re just starting to explore the powerful Companion System, here are some tips and tricks to get you on your way.

    How Does Companion Work?

Each Companion has its own personal quest line and backstory, which you first start by obtaining Companion.

As you begin your adventures in ESO with your Companion, you’ll build rapport through a variety of activities. Rapport System is basically a measure of how much each companion likes you. So if you pickpocket ESO Gold while out adventuring, your companions may be hindering or encouraging you.

Over time, you begin to build a rapport with your companion, and they will begin to share more personal information and tasks with you. However, if your companion doesn’t like you, then your companion can choose to unsummon themselves and wait for a period before you can summon them again.

Think of companions as actual players, just like when you’re in a dungeon. Your companion will fill in the gaps as needed. But if actual players enter the dungeon, your companions will be unsummoned.

    Companion Gear

Now let’s talk about customization. Each companion can have its own unique gear setup, allowing you to customize your companion just the way you like. This is great because you can build your companion to complement your preferred way of playing.

For example, if you are playing a damage dealer and need more healing, you can customize your companion by setting a healer. Now it should be noted that companions can only use companion gear, they cannot use ordinary player equipment.

    Skill

In terms of skills, each companion has its own class abilities, which are improved through combat experience.

You unlock your first skill when your companion reaches level 2. The next skills are unlocked at level 7, 12, and the ultimate skill is unlocked at level 20.

It should be noted that not all skill lines can be upgraded through combat. Fighters, Mages, and Undaunted Guild can all level up by completing daily tasks.

    Customize Appearance

Besides customization, you can also use Outfit Stations to change the appearance of your companions. If customization takes a long time, you can also equip any outfit you’ve collected previously.

In addition to their outfits, you can also choose the mount they ride on. The mount they ride is the same as the mount you ride by default. But you can change it in Companion Menu.

The above are some tips you need to know when using Companion System. You can choose different Companions according to your play style. No matter who you choose to follow on your adventure, they will help you have a better gaming experience as you slowly level them up. So hurry up and explore Tamriel with your Companion NPCs!

  • Elder Scrolls Online: How To Participate In Whitestrake’s Mayhem Event And Get More Loot From It?

    Posted: Feb 23, 2024

Whitestrake’s Mayhem is back! Alliance Points, Tel Var Stones and XP gains in specific PVP content will be boosted throughout the event, plus the usual Event Box rewards and Tickets, all of which attract more players to the game’s PVP content.

Also, Harvesting nodes in Cyrodiil will also be buffed because of the event, providing more resource drops.

In this guide, I’ll walk you through everything you need to know about Whitestrake’s Mayhem event and share how to get more loot from it.

    Start Event

To participate in Whitestrake’s Mayhem, you can get the event quest from Crown Store, although this is no longer necessary.

This quest will ask you to find and talk to an NPC, which you can find at Alliance Gate in Cyrodiil or at Battleground camp outside the major city. You must be level 10 or higher to enter PVP areas. However, as mentioned before, this task is no longer required.

The reason is that event rewards are now passively applied to anyone who competes on Cyrodiil, Imperial City, and Battlegrounds. Therefore, you no longer need to use the scroll obtained from previous years’ quests to get promotions!

Completing this very simple quest does reward an Event Box, and it can be used on your alt and characters that completed it in previous years. So if you’re just looking for some boxes, go for it! But again, this task is no longer needed.

    How To Get Event Boxes?

Event Boxes have a slight chance of dropping a new Armor Style Page, but the remaining drops are mostly things players have seen before. You can earn these Event Boxes by completing the following activities:

    • Battleground Daily Quests
    • Alliance Base Bulletin Board Dailies
    • Daily Quests found in Cyrodiils 5 Towns
    • Imperial City Daily Quests

Please keep in mind that daily quests are limited, with a maximum of 50 daily quests per character per day.

    Event Tickets

When you complete these tasks, you will receive a total of 3 Event Tickets per day, for a total of 39 Tickets during the entire event period. After completing Cyrodiil or Battleground daily quests, you will receive 2 tickets, and after completing Imperial City daily quests, you will receive 1 additional ticket.

    Impresario Items

Besides, during the event, Impresario will provide a Bag of Veteran’s Glory, which will drop an item that was awarded in previous events.

There’s a lot of stuff in this grab bag, so be aware that getting everything requires more Event Tickets than the event offers. Some of these items can be found at Guild Traders. So before you use tickets to grab something from your grab bag, try buying some of these items on cheap ESO Gold.

She will also carry the usual assortment of items, including a new Style Page and one of this year’s collectibles, the first 2 fragments of Morph.

    Golden Vendor

During this event, Golden Vendor is offering jewelry from Cyrodiil item sets. The necklace will be available during the first weekend of the celebration, and the matching rings will be available during the second weekend.

During both weekends of the event, Golden Vendor will not be offering the usual Monster Masks or Shoulders, and all purchases in her store must be made using Alliance Points.

    PVP Tips

I know PVP events aren’t popular with everyone, but please let those who enjoy PVP content enjoy their events!

If you absolutely can’t stand playing PVP content, do the bare minimum to get Event Tickets.

In Cyrodiil, find a town controlled by your faction and do a quick quest there. Then go to Imperial City to do a mission. You can use your powerful factions to minimize deaths. If there is a character in each alliance, you can even swap them if needed.

The chance of dying is never zero, but if you do die, just go back and try again. If you need to leave in a hurry, you can instantly teleport to Cyrodiil or Imperial City by queuing for the city you’re currently not in.

Please note, please be careful of those griefers during this time and do not gather in large groups. You can use something like Invisibility Potion to help you avoid danger when you need it. Anyway, enjoy the event!

  • Elder Scrolls Online: How To Get Planemeld’s Master Markings In Q1 2024? - New Event Collectible

    Posted: Jan 08, 2024

Welcome to my guide to Planeteld’s Master Markings. Today, we’ll be discussing how to get Planemeld’s Master Markings in Elder Scrolls Online, a new event collectible for Q1 2024.

With this guide, you’ll also learn more about Planeteld’s Master Fragments. For example, we need how many Event Tickets to unlock Planemeld’s Master Markings, which events may be active in the first quarter of 2024, and more.

    Event Collectibles

Over the past few years, we’ve been able to earn a variety of unique Event Collectibles in ESO through in-game activities during events.

Between 2019 and 2020, we can collect as many as nine Indrik Mount variants. It doesn’t matter if you don’t get these collectibles during the event. Because starting in June 2022, players can spend ESO Gold to purchase past Indrik Mounts and Pets from Indrik Vendor.

In 2021, Event Collectibles we can collect include: Deadlands Scorcher Skin, Deadlands Firewalker Personality, a Dagonic Quasigriff Mount and Doomchar Plateau House. And starting in June 2023, Impresario’s Assistant, Philius Dormier will begin offering various Event Collectibles for 2021 each quarter.

In 2022, we can collect collectibles such as Scales of Akatosh Skin, Aurelic Quasigriff Mount, Daggerfall Paladin Costume and Sacred Hourglass of Alkosh Furnishing.

In 2023, we can get Passion’s Muse Personality, Meadowbreeze Memories Skin, Passion Dancer Garment Costume and Hoardhunter Ursauk Mount.

    Planemeld’s Master Markings

Now, in the first quarter of 2024, we will get Planemeld’s Master Markings. If you want to get it, you first need to get the new base Collectible of the year, Molag Bal Illusion Imp Pet.

After you get Molag Bal Illusion Imp Pet, you must collect three different types of Planemeld’s Master Markings Fragments:

    • Crematory Ash Fragment
    • Incandescent Brimstone Fragment
    • Seething Censer Fragment

All Planemeld’s Master Markings Fragments can be purchased at Impresario Event Merchant, and each fragment requires 10 Event Tickets.

Then combine the 3 Fragments with Molag Bal Illusion Imp Pet to unlock Planemeld’s Master Markings. This means you need a total of 45 Event Tickets to get Planemeld’s Master Markings.

How To Unlock Planemeld’s Master Markings?

To unlock Planemeld’s Master Markings, go to your Collection -> Fragments -> Planemeld’s Master Markings -> right click on any Fragments -> click Combo. Planemeld’s Master Markings will then be added to your collection.

In the process, you’ll lose Molag Bal Illusion Imp Pet, and you’ll have to recollect it.

Not all upgrade fragments are immediately available from ESO. You can find new fragments for each event of a specific quarter in Impresario’s stock.

Keep in mind that each unique Collectibles is only available for a specific time frame. Items also change each season. Therefore, if you are interested in collecting Planemeld’s Master Markings, you must get 3 fragments in the first quarter of 2024.

Usually ESO will bring back upgraded fragments of all the unique Event Collectibles of that year during New Life Festival in December. But I don’t know if it will be the same this year.

    Q1 2024 Events

Now let’s talk about the upcoming events in the first quarter of 2024.

    Guilds And Glory Events

The first event is Guilds and Glory Event. They will hold the event for the first time in January 2024. During this event, you can get the first upgraded fragment of Planemeld’s Master Markings.

    Whitestrake’s Mayhem Event

The second event is Whitestrake’s Mayhem Event. The event may return in February 2024. During this event, you can get the first and second upgrade fragments of Planemeld’s Master Markings.

    Jester’s Festival

The third event is Jester’s Festival. The event returns each year at the end of March. During this event, you can get all three upgrade fragments of Planemeld’s Master Markings.

Above is your complete guide to getting Collectibles, Planemeld’s Master Markings, in ESO’s first quarter of 2024. Have a nice day. See you next time.

  • Elder Scrolls Online: A Complete Guide To Endless Archive Portals To The Unknown! - Puzzles, Quests & Upgrades

    Posted: Dec 05, 2023

This guide will explain the puzzle found in Portals to the Unknown at the end of the trash mob stages in Endless Archive.

Not only will you get some tips and tricks for defeating them, but we’ll highlight the archive upgrades you can earn by completing their achievements! Whether you’re looking for extra clues or are confused about what to do in Filer’s Wing, you’ll find it all here!

What/Where Are Portals To The Unknown?

After completing the trash mob stages in Endless Archive, smaller Portals to the Unknown will sometimes open next to the main portal you used to enter the next round. This additional portal will open up some kind of mini-game, where you usually have to complete tasks while avoiding danger.

You only have one chance to win, but completing them will give you an extra reward chest and a second Verse buff for the next stage.

Currently, you can encounter 5 different puzzles, each with 5 different variations. Each time you beat the previous version, the difficulty gradually increases.

What Do You Get For Winning?

When you complete all 5 variations of puzzles, you will unlock an achievement and permanent upgrade. You can also buy it from Filer Tezurs for ESO Gold. So what do you need to do to advance them?

    Treacherous Crossing

The first game is Treacherous Crossing. In this game, you need to press switches to clear the corridors of those pesky ink puddles, then run across the room to press the last switch. It’s important to note that stepping into a puddle won’t kill you, but it will send you back to the beginning of the room.

This puzzle will be easier for 2 people. Because one person can move across the room and another person can hit the switch, but you have less time to move across the room than a single player. You can figure out the correct sequence of switches to make traversing easier.

As a solo player, I found that I also had enough time to hit all the switches as quickly as possible and move through the room at an efficient pace. Completing this puzzle’s achievement unlocks a permanent movement speed upgrade.

    Haefal’s Butchery

To complete the next challenge, you need to collect 3 Sweetrolls around the map while Butcher will chase you and try to kill you.

If you are in a duo, there will be 2 butchers, but this does not apply to companions. Each Sweetroll increases your ultimate skill. Once charged, you can use it to defeat them instantly.

The first three difficulties of this game are the same, but in the fourth and fifth stages, it reduced your maximum stamina by 100 each time.

While doing this, don’t forget to use the environment to keep your distance from Butcher. You can do this by jumping off ledges or taking long routes. Completing this puzzle will unlock the ability to choose from 3 Verses permanently.

    Filer’s Wing

Next up is Filer’s Wing. After entering this game, Filer Kor will turn you into a Watchling. You will need to navigate a maze filled with Booknado and Abyssal Tendril to find and kill Tomeshell.

Once you transform, your skill bar will change. You can use your second skill to see Tomeshell through walls. When you find one, press your first skill to attack it.

You have limited health and cannot heal if you take damage. Initially, you only need 1 Tomeshell, but this increases to 4 in the final stages, so take advantage of these skills!

Not only do you have to avoid traps, but there will also be enemies running around in later turns that will kill you quickly. If you lose all your health points, the challenge fails. There is no time limit, so don’t rush!

If you are playing this game with a friend, you need to travel around the room together. You can resurrect each other through synergy. So solo players are at a disadvantage in this game, but duos need to get double the number of Tomeshells to win. Completing Filer’s Wing will give you a permanent 3rd Vision option.

    Echoing Den

Now let’s look at Echoing Den. In this game, you need to bring all the glowing souls into the center of the room before the timer runs out. If you move too fast, they will stop following you, but if you move too slowly, you may run out of time.

In the first phase you only need to return 1 ghost light, but in later phases you need to return 6.

This seems less challenging on a controller. With the joystick, you can move slightly around the room to get all the ghost lights and move them to the middle. But on PC, it’s recommended that you walk backwards or block walk to keep your speed slow enough.

This is the only mini-game that is constant between solo and duo groups. Permanent upgrades to this challenge will increase the strength of your chosen Verses!

    Theater Of War

Finally, Theater of War requires you to fight Arcanist.

In the early stages, combat is straightforward. But as you level up the fight, she adds more mechanics to the fight. It is very similar to Arcanist world boss in Necrom. Interrupt her when you need to, and avoid Tentacle and AOE that spawn at your feet.

In later stages, you’ll see a crystal or two in the room. When they glow, they will actively fire projectiles at you, dealing with increasing damage.

Watch for the small green light that shoots from her hands and awakens Crystal. When this happens, focus on destroying Crystal.

If there are 2 players, you will get double the amount of Tentacle spawns. This game can permanently increase your Vision strength.

    What If You Lose?

If you fail any of these mini-games, you’ll be moved to the next stage, but you won’t lose a life for failing, so it’s worth a try!

What Puzzles Do You See In The Group?

When you complete the ultimate level of all puzzles, from that point on you will only encounter level 5 puzzles when playing solo. But when you’re in a team, the level of the puzzle is determined by the player with the lowest level of completion.

    Archive Quests

In addition to 5 different puzzles, you can also randomly pick up 2 quests in the portal. Completing them will unlock permanent onetime upgrades that increase your thread count.

    Destozuno’s Safety Net

Like the other upgrades, it can be found in Filer Tezurs and is called Destozuno’s Safety Net. It costs a lot, but is well worth the purchase as you get extra lives with each run.

    A Bookbinder’s Bind

A Bookbinder’s Bind task is to collect 5 bundles of paper. Once you have collected all the pages and are responsible for returning to Destozuno, Portals to the Unknown will open at the end of the stage and take you back to meet her.

    Restoring The Resurrected

After you help her find the pages of the book, she will need further help to find and open 7 lockboxes in the quest of Restoring the Resurrected.

Like the first mission, these lockboxes are randomly generated in trash mob stages, and RNG affects how quickly you find them. When you grab the last one, Portals to the Unknown will open and you can talk to Destozuno to unlock Word Waltzer Achievement. Once completed, you are free to purchase Safety Net!

    Restorer Of Theories Daily

Destozuno’s Library also has a daily quest called Restorer of Theories. Completing it for the first time each day will give you 500 Archival Fortunes, but only 100 for any additional characters.

I hope this guide helps you collect all the puzzle achievements and archive upgrades. Good luck!

  • Elder Scrolls Online: A Complete Guide To Endless Archive Dungeon - Info & Rewards

    Posted: Oct 31, 2023

Get ready to venture into Endless Archive, an all-new PVE activity that challenges you with waves of randomly generated monsters and boss encounters.

    How To Access Endless Archive?

Available to solo players, duos, and those with a Companion, Endless Archive ensures that no two expeditions are alike, with its dynamic encounters and unique rewards encouraging repeated play throughs.

Found in Apocrypha, Endless Archive is a sacred library that a powerful Daedra has corrupted, and now Archive’s custodian needs your help.

As part of Update 40 Patch, Endless Archive is completely free for anybody that owns ESO, which means you don’t need any specific chapter or DLC to dive right in. You can teleport to Archive via the world map, or if you’re a Necrom chapter owner, just head to Apocrypha.

    Stages, Cycles, and Arcs

When you enter Endless Archive, you must contend with randomly generated waves of enemies and stages. After you’ve completed two Stages, you can then take on a boss to complete a Cycle. Complete five Cycles to confront the ultimate boss. Defeat her, and you’ve completed a single Arc.

But you’re just getting started. Keep clearing Arcs to climb the leaderboards and increase your rewards. But if you fall to Archive’s dangers too many times, your run is over.

Each Cycle and Arc you complete increases the difficulty, ensuring that the deeper you go, the more perilous it becomes. Not only do the monsters become deadlier and more numerous, but you may discover brand-new dangers to overcome.

    Verses & Visions

To help you survive Archive’s many threats, you can acquire two different perks or buffs, known as Verses and Visions

Verses appear at the end of each stage and provide a short-term buff for the next stage only. Visions appear when you beat the boss at the end of a cycle and provide a buff that lasts for your entire run. It can even stack Visions as you complete cycles.

Some buffs offer defensive or offensive bonuses, while others provide unique utilities. Regardless of their differences, though, Verses and Visions have a major impact on your run, so choose wisely.

    New Rewards

As you delve deeper into the ever-changing arenas of Endless Archive, you can discover new rewards not found anywhere else in Elder Scrolls Online. This includes special collectibles such as a mount, a pet, cosmetics, and more. You can earn tons of ESO Gold by farming this loot in Endless Archive Dungeon.

But most notably, Endless Archive is the only place you can acquire all-new Class Set items, either via loot drops or from local vendors.

Class Sets focus on buffing specific Class Skill Lines. With seven unique sets available at launch, these items synergize with the abilities of some of the game’s individual Class Skill Lines.

    New Currency - Archival Fortunes

In addition to the items and collectibles, Endless Archive also introduces a new currency, Archival Fortunes. You can trade these within the index starting area for Class Set items, Style Pages, Furnishings, special items and unique account unlocks

These account unlock can permanently increase the power of your Verses and Visions, allow additional Verse or Vision choices, and much more.

The more Archival Fortunes you earn, the more you can empower your future Archive runs, helping you delve further and further.

Venture into a myriad of randomized arenas, either solo or with an ally. Contend with waves of monsters and challenging boss encounters. Climb the leaderboards to earn powerful and unique rewards. Endless Archive is a brand-new PVE activity for all of Tamriel’s adventurers. Good Luck!
